The JLT replacement air filter SW10407 is a washable and reusable air filter designed for selected JLT Cold Air Intake systems and our Schropp SF450 and SF480 performance packages. This red oiled cotton filter measures 5" x 7" and is intended as a replacement for an existing filter element, for example when the original filter has been damaged or needs replacing during maintenance. Replacement filter for Schropp performance packages We use this filter in several performance and intake systems offered by Schropp, including: Schropp SF450 performance package Schropp SF480 performance package JLT Cold Air Intake for 2018–2021 Mustang GT JLT Cold Air Intake for 2015–2020 Mustang Shelby GT350 The filter is also compatible with numerous additional JLT Cold Air Intake systems for different Mustang generations. Washable cotton filter The JLT filter uses multi-layer cotton filter media designed to provide high airflow while maintaining effective filtration. The filter element is washable and reusable. With proper cleaning and maintenance, it can be used repeatedly. Cleaning and maintenance This filter uses oiled cotton filter media. After cleaning and allowing the filter to dry completely, it must be re-oiled using a suitable air filter oil. The manufacturer specifies an oil quantity of 75 grams. Suitable cleaning and maintenance products for oiled cotton air filters should be used. Already own an SCT X4 Flasher? You can order an individually created Schropp Custom Tune for your vehicle without purchasing another flasher. The Custom Tune is created specifically for the respective vehicle configuration and supplied by email. It can be transferred to your existing SCT X4 using the SCT Device Updater and then programmed to the vehicle through the OBD-II port. Please note: This product includes only the individually created Schropp Custom Tune. An SCT X4 Flasher is not included. Before ordering: check the status of your SCT X4 If your SCT X4 is currently unmarried and not connected to a vehicle, we recommend updating the device to the current SCT software version before ordering. This allows required device and vehicle definitions to be updated before we create your Custom Tune. If your SCT X4 is still connected to another vehicle or married, the device must first be unlocked. In this case, please order our SCT X4 Unlock Service before ordering the Custom Tune. Important: Once the Schropp Custom Tune has been installed or the X4 has been connected to your vehicle, you should avoid unnecessary device updates. Updates do not change or improve the Custom Tune and may under certain circumstances cause issues with stored Tune Files, the Stock File or the device-to-vehicle pairing. Schropp Custom Tune Our Custom Tunes are intended for vehicles in factory configuration as well as vehicles with common standard modifications. The Custom Tune is individually created to match the engine, transmission, intake system and existing modifications. The calibration is designed to provide improved throttle response and optimised power delivery. On vehicles with an automatic transmission, the transmission calibration is also adjusted to match the engine and transmission calibration to the vehicle configuration. With the factory intake system, the power increase is approximately +25 hp for the 3.7 V6 and approximately +35 hp for the V8 models, depending on the engine. With an aftermarket intake system, the result depends on the individual vehicle configuration. 98 RON fuel is required for the Custom Tune. Factory or aftermarket intake Two configurations are available: Factory intake Aftermarket intake – please specify manufacturer/model For an aftermarket intake, we require the manufacturer and exact model of the installed intake system in order to create the calibration. For extensive engine modifications or configurations that differ significantly from stock, please contact us before ordering so that we can confirm whether the required calibration can be covered by this product. Top-speed limiter adjustment The electronic speed limiter can also be adjusted as part of the Schropp Custom Tune. The calibration includes a top-speed limiter adjustment appropriate for the vehicle configuration. Transferring the Custom Tune to the SCT X4 The free SCT Device Updater is required to transfer the Custom Tune to the SCT X4. The software runs exclusively on Windows, so a Windows laptop or Windows PC is required. We provide instructions explaining how to transfer the Custom Tune to your SCT X4. Return to stock – vehicle-specific Stock File We provide an original Stock File matched to the vehicle's ECU and software calibration. This allows the vehicle to be returned to its factory software calibration when required. Important for vehicles that are already tuned: If the vehicle already has a calibration from another tuner installed, that calibration is not used as the Stock File. Returning the vehicle to stock with the SCT X4 will restore the original factory calibration – not the previously installed tune from another provider. If you want to retain the option of returning the vehicle to a tune previously supplied by another tuner, that calibration or an appropriate method of restoring it must be secured separately with the previous tuner. SCT X3 and older device generations are no longer supported by the manufacturer. Current software updates and regular technical or recovery support are therefore no longer available for these devices. For this reason, we cannot guarantee that a newly created Custom Tune can be correctly transferred to and used with an SCT X3 or older SCT Flasher. The SCT X4 Programmer with an individual Schropp Custom Tune allows the ECU of your Ford Mustang to be calibrated through the OBD-II port. In addition to programming the Custom Tune, the X4 is a practical diagnostic and data-logging tool that can continue to be used in the vehicle after the tune has been installed. The Schropp Custom Tune is created for the individual vehicle configuration. We take into account factors including engine, transmission and intake system. On vehicles with an automatic transmission, transmission behaviour will also be included in the calibration. Schropp Custom Tune Our Custom Tunes are intended for vehicles in standard configuration as well as vehicles with common modifications such as an aftermarket intake / Cold Air Intake. The aim of the calibration is improved throttle response, optimised power delivery and, on automatic vehicles, suitable calibration of the supported transmission management. These generic SCT calibrations are not intended for the respective European vehicle configuration and are not approved for use by us. Important – never install an SCT Preloaded Tune: During the first flashing process, SCT Preloaded Tunes may still be selectable on the device. When programming the vehicle, please select only the Schropp Custom Tune created by us. After the first correct flashing process, the SCT Preloaded Tunes are no longer available for further use. Particular care must therefore be taken during the initial programming process not to select an SCT standard tune by mistake. Important – do not update the SCT X4: The device supplied by us is already on the software version required for its intended application. Updating the X4 after delivery is not necessary and should not be carried out. An update does not improve the Schropp Custom Tune or its functionality. Unnecessary updates may also cause problems with stored Custom Tunes, the Stock File or the assignment of a device that has already been paired with a vehicle. Custom Tune and vehicle information To create the individual tune, we require the vehicle's VIN and ECU Strategy together with information about the vehicle configuration. The ECU Strategy can be read through the SCT X4's Vehicle Info menu. We also require the following information: VIN vehicle model and engine manual or automatic transmission installed intake system / Cold Air Intake other engine-related vehicle modifications rear tyre size changed final drive ratio, if applicable Important information for your order: Please enter your VIN, vehicle/engine and transmission – manual or automatic – in the order comments. SF480 – the proven Schropp Power Package for the Mustang GT 2015–2017. The SF480 combines the intake manifold from the 2018 Mustang GT with a JLT cold air intake and an individual Schropp calibration developed specifically for the complete package. The result is a comprehensive naturally aspirated upgrade for the 5.0 V8 Coyote, delivering a noticeably different engine character and approximately 480 hp. Since many years, the SF480 is one of our best-selling Power Packages – and the concept has proven itself far beyond normal road use. We have used and developed this configuration ourselves in motorsport over many years. The SF480 Power Package The package includes the components required for the conversion together with our specifically developed calibration: 2018 Mustang GT intake manifold JLT cold air intake SCT X4 Programmer individual Schropp Custom Tune for the SF480 configuration Schropp installation kit with hoses and wiring our prepared Plug&Play wiring solution for the conversion approval documentation according to vehicle specification: Teilegutachten for EU models or a vehicle-specific test report for US models installation support Approximately 480 hp without a supercharger With 98 RON fuel, vehicles with this configuration typically achieve approximately 480 hp based on our experience. Actual engine output can vary depending on vehicle condition, production tolerances and other individual factors. The SF480 is not simply a collection of individual tuning components. The intake manifold, intake system and engine calibration work together as a matched package. 98 RON fuel is required for the SF480 calibration. Race-proven at the Nürburgring We have used the SF480 concept under conditions far beyond normal road driving. The OVR Racing Mustang competed with this configuration in the Nürburgring 24 Hours in 2019, 2020, 2021 and 2022. We also ran the SF480 for years on track in our own 2003 Mustang GT track car with a Coyote swap. This experience has directly influenced the calibration and specification of the package. For EU and US models with approval The SF480 Power Package is available for EU and US specification Mustang GT 5.0 V8 models from 2015–2017 with the corresponding approval documentation. For EU specification vehicles, the SF480 is supplied with a Teilegutachten. For US specification vehicles, we provide a vehicle-specific test report for approval under §19(2)/§21 StVZO in Germany. Requirements for approval: Exhaust manifolds and catalytic converters must remain in factory configuration on both EU and US models. On EU models, an aftermarket exhaust with valid EC type approval may be combined with the SF480 provided the vehicle remains within the permitted noise limits. On US models, the exhaust system must also remain in factory configuration. DIY installation or installation by Schropp The SF480 can be ordered as a complete package for DIY installation. Our own installation kit and prepared Plug&Play wiring solution simplify the integration of the 2018 intake manifold into the 2015–2017 Mustang GT. We also provide support if questions arise during installation. Alternatively, we can carry out the complete installation and calibration at our workshop for an additional charge.
