Roush Air Filter Kit with Clear Airbox Lids for Mustang 7 GT & Dark Horse
The Roush Performance Air Filter Kit for the Mustang 7 replaces the two factory air filter elements and airbox lids with two large, washable Roush Performance air filters and transparent airbox lids. The Mustang's factory intake system and intake tubes remain in place. Showcasing the Mustang 7's dual intake One of the really cool features of the Mustang 7 5.0L V8 is its factory dual-intake layout with two separate airboxes. This is exactly what makes the Roush kit so visually effective. The transparent closed airbox lids leave both red Roush Performance air filters clearly visible, turning the symmetrical dual-intake layout into a real feature of the engine bay without replacing the complete factory intake system. Installed in our own Mustang 7 GT We have also installed the Roush Air Filter Kit in our own Mustang 7 GT. For us, appearance was actually the main reason for choosing it: the two red filters beneath the transparent lids perfectly complement the Gen 7's dual-intake layout and add exactly the visual detail we felt was missing from the standard engine bay. The Roush Air Filter Kit also changes the induction sound of the 5.0L V8, making the engine acoustically more present. No additional engine calibration is required to operate the kit. Supplied with German parts type approval (TTG) We supply the Roush Air Filter Kit with a German Teiletypgenehmigung (TTG / parts type approval). This provides road approval for the air filter conversion on the vehicles covered by the TTG and means that no additional modification inspection is required. The supplied TTG document simply needs to be kept in the vehicle together with the vehicle documents. Closed airboxes with transparent lids The transparent lids keep the two red filters clearly visible while the airboxes remain enclosed. The result integrates cleanly into the factory engine bay rather than looking like an aftermarket open-filter conversion. The large high-flow air filters are washable and reusable. They can be cleaned as required and subsequently reused. No additional tune required The Roush Air Filter Kit is designed to operate with the factory engine calibration. No additional tune or ECU calibration is required for installation. Schropp Power Package Custom Tune + RTD – Mustang 7 GT & Dark Horse
The Schropp Power Package for the Mustang 7 GT and Dark Horse combines our custom-developed calibration with the Schropp RTD Gen 4 powered by HP Tuners. The result is approximately +25–30 hp, optimized engine and – on automatic vehicles – transmission calibration, plus convenient tune delivery directly through your smartphone. The package is designed for the 2024+ Mustang 7 with the 5.0 V8, including both GT and Dark Horse models with manual or automatic transmission. More than simply adding power The Mustang 7 engine management strategy differs significantly from previous Mustang generations, particularly in the way the factory calibration manages the engine under sustained high load. Our calibration therefore goes beyond modifying individual parameters for maximum peak output. We revise the relevant areas of the engine calibration as a complete system, optimizing its behavior under load with the aim of delivering strong performance together with a robust calibration. On vehicles equipped with the 10-speed automatic transmission, we also optimize the transmission calibration for more decisive and consistent shifting that better complements the characteristics of the 5.0 V8. The RTD works with the free HP Tuners TDN app for iPhone and Android. Vehicle files can be read and calibrations supplied by us can be written directly using your smartphone. No laptop or VCM Editor software is required for the normal read and flash process. All 4 HP Tuners credits required to license the Mustang are included in the package. Return to the stock calibration The vehicle's original calibration is retained through the HP Tuners Tune Delivery Network (TDN) during the initial read process. It can therefore be written back to the vehicle later using the RTD and TDN app. Switching between the custom and original calibration requires a complete flash procedure and takes the corresponding amount of time – it is not simply an instant mode switch. The Schropp RTD remains yours. It can also be used with additional vehicles supported by HP Tuners; additional credits may be required to license another vehicle. Option: Remote Tune / Shipping We ship the Schropp RTD including the required credits to you. Once received, connect the RTD to your Mustang and read the vehicle using the TDN app on your smartphone. The vehicle data is then made available to us through TDN. We prepare the appropriate Schropp calibration and deliver it to you through TDN. You can then flash the custom tune using your smartphone and RTD – no laptop and no visit to our workshop required. Option: On-site Dyno Tune For the on-site option, your Mustang is tuned at our facility in Mössingen, Germany, using our SuperFlow AWD chassis dyno. We handle the complete read and flash process and perform dyno measurements before and after calibration. Where technically appropriate and possible, the calibration can also be adapted to individual requirements. Calibration for another high-quality fuel grade, such as 100 RON, may be possible by prior arrangement.
