Redline Tuning QuickLIFT PLUS Hood Struts for Mustang 1979–1998 – Black
Eliminate the factory hood prop rod with the Redline Tuning QuickLIFT PLUS. Simply begin lifting the hood and the gas struts take over, raising it smoothly and holding it securely in the open position. This vehicle-specific system is designed for the 1979–1998 Ford Mustang with the factory hood, covering Mustang 3 as well as 1994–1998 Mustang 4 models. The QuickLIFT PLUS version features black gas struts and black mounting brackets throughout, creating a clean and discreet appearance in the engine bay. Progressive-rate gas struts Redline Tuning's gas struts are specifically engineered for the individual vehicle application and feature end-of-stroke damping. This slows the extension during the final part of the opening movement rather than allowing the hood to reach its fully open position abruptly. Drilling is required to install the mounting brackets. The required specialist mounting hardware is included with the system. Once installed, the factory hood prop rod is no longer required and the hood can be conveniently opened with one hand. QuickLIFT PLUS – all-black systemThe steel mounting brackets are zinc plated for corrosion protection and then finished with a black powder coating. The gas struts are also finished in black, allowing the complete system to blend discreetly into the engine bay.
SCT Chip with Schropp Custom Tune for Mustang 5.0 1989–1993
The SCT Chip with an individual Schropp Custom Tune provides vehicle-specific engine calibration for the 1989–1993 Ford Mustang 5.0. The Custom Tune is created specifically for vehicles in standard configuration or with typical basic modifications such as an upgraded air filter. The calibration is designed to provide improved throttle response and optimised power delivery. Schropp Custom Tune The SCT Chip technically provides multiple selectable positions. With this product, however, we create and program one individual Schropp Custom Tune. Only one position on the chip is therefore programmed with a tune. Switching between different calibrations is not intended with this version. The switch cable shown in some SCT product images is therefore not required and is not included. Shell Helix Ultra Professional AM-L 5W-30 Engine Oil – Schropp Recommended

Shell Helix Ultra Professional AM-L 5W-30 has been our clear engine oil recommendation for high-performance Ford Mustang engines for years – and it is an oil we trust in our own vehicles and engine builds. We use this engine oil in the Schropp SF600R as well as in the OVR Racing Mustang in 24-hour/VLN racing. Our recommendation is therefore based not only on technical specifications, but also on years of experience under demanding conditions. Required for our SF700 supercharger builds For our Schropp SF700 supercharger builds, we go one step further: Shell Helix Ultra Professional AM-L 5W-30 is our specified engine oil. For an SF700 built by Schropp, this is the engine oil we require to be used. With high-performance and supercharged engines, engine oil is not an area where we experiment. This is why we also strongly recommend this oil for standard and modified Mustang engines.
