SF450 – the Schropp Power Package with JLT intake system and individual calibration for the Mustang GT 2015–2017.
The SF450 combines the JLT cold air intake with an SCT X4 and our individual Schropp Custom Tune calibrated specifically for this vehicle configuration. Compared with the standard vehicle, the package provides an increase of approximately 35 hp, improved throttle response and optimised power delivery.
On vehicles with an automatic transmission, the transmission calibration is also adjusted to match the engine and transmission calibration to the vehicle.
98 RON fuel is required for the SF450 calibration.

For EU and US models with approval
The SF450 Power Package is available for EU and US specification Ford Mustang GT 5.0 V8 models from 2015–2017 with the corresponding approval documentation.
For EU specification vehicles, the SF450 is supplied with a Teilegutachten. For US specification vehicles, we provide a vehicle-specific test report for approval under §19(2)/§21 StVZO in Germany. The vehicle inspection is carried out by inspection engineers of an officially recognised inspection organisation.
Requirements for approval:
- Exhaust manifolds and catalytic converters must remain in factory configuration on both EU and US models.
- On EU models, an aftermarket exhaust with valid EC type approval may be combined with the SF450 provided the vehicle remains within the permitted noise limits.
- On US models, the exhaust system must also remain in factory configuration.
Information we need from you
Please provide the Vehicle Identification Number (VIN) when ordering. It is required for the corresponding approval documentation.
We also require the following information to create the individual Schropp Custom Tune:
- Vehicle Identification Number (VIN)
- ECU Strategy
- transmission type
- engine-related vehicle modifications
- rear tyre size
- modified final drive ratio, if applicable
SCT X4 and Schropp Custom Tune
The SCT X4 is prepared by us for use with your Mustang. To create the final Custom Tune, we require the vehicle's ECU Strategy. After receiving the X4, you can obtain this information through the “Vehicle Info” menu and send it to us together with the remaining vehicle details.
We then create the appropriate Schropp Custom Tune and send the Tune File to you by email.
The free SCT Device Updater is required to transfer the Custom Tune to the SCT X4. The software runs exclusively on Windows, so a Windows laptop or Windows PC is required. Instructions for transferring the Tune File are included.
Important – do not unnecessarily update the SCT X4 after delivery:
The X4 is supplied by us with the software version required for the application. An additional device update is not required for the Custom Tune and does not improve the calibration. Unnecessary later updates may under certain circumstances cause issues with stored Tune Files, the Stock File or the device-to-vehicle pairing.
Return to stock – vehicle-specific Stock File
We load the SCT X4 with an original Stock File matched to the vehicle's ECU and software calibration. This allows the vehicle to be returned to its factory software calibration when required.
Important for vehicles that are already tuned:
If the vehicle already has a calibration from another tuner installed when the SCT X4 is used, that calibration is not saved as the Stock File. Using the SCT X4 to return the vehicle to stock will restore the original factory calibration – not the previously installed tune from another provider.
If you want to retain the option of returning the vehicle to a tune previously supplied by another tuner, that calibration or an appropriate method of restoring it must be secured separately with the previous tuner.
SCT Preloaded Tunes – important information for the first flash
The SCT X4 may initially contain SCT Preloaded Tunes. These generic SCT calibrations are not intended for the respective European vehicle configuration and are not approved for use by us.
Important – never install an SCT Preloaded Tune:
During the first flashing process, SCT Preloaded Tunes may still be selectable on the device. When programming the vehicle, please select only the Schropp Custom Tune created by us.
After the first correct flashing process, the SCT Preloaded Tunes are no longer available for further use. Particular care must therefore be taken during the initial programming process not to select an SCT standard tune by mistake.
