Schropp JLT + SCT X4 Power Package for Shelby GT500 2010–2014

The Schropp JLT Power Package combines the JLT Cold Air Intake with a Schropp Custom Tune specifically calibrated for the vehicle and intake system for the 2010–2014 Ford Mustang Shelby GT500 5.4 and 5.8 V8.

The supercharged V8 engines in the Shelby GT500 are particularly sensitive to changes in the intake system. For this reason, we do not offer the JLT Cold Air Intake as a standalone intake but combine it with an engine calibration matched to the vehicle and the modified intake system.

We deliberately do not specify a fixed power increase for this package. The actual result on a GT500 depends on factors including the condition of the vehicle and any existing modifications. For further performance upgrades, we offer our GT500 Pulley & Tune Packages.

JLT Cold Air Intake for the Shelby GT500

The JLT CAIP-GT500-10 Cold Air Intake used in this Power Package was developed for the 2010–2014 Shelby GT500 with the 5.4 or 5.8 litre supercharged V8 engine.

The JLT intake replaces the factory intake system and changes the airflow to the engine. Due to the modified intake system, a corresponding engine calibration is required.

JLT Intake and Schropp Custom Tune as a matched package

A larger intake is only one part of the complete system. We therefore combine the JLT Cold Air Intake with a Schropp engine calibration individually created for the vehicle.

The Custom Tune takes the modified intake system as well as the individual vehicle data and existing modifications into account. The calibration is created based on the ECU Strategy and the actual vehicle configuration.

With or without SCT X4 – you decide

The Schropp JLT Power Package is available in two versions:

incl. SCT X4
If you do not already own a suitable programmer, choose the complete package including an SCT X4. The X4 is used to transfer the Schropp Custom Tune to the vehicle.

use your existing SCT X4
If you already own a suitable SCT X4, you can order the Power Package without an additional programmer. The existing device must be suitable for your vehicle and unmarried. Please update the SCT X4 to the current software version before ordering. If the device is still married to another vehicle, please contact us before placing your order.

How to receive your Schropp Custom Tune

When selecting the version including an SCT X4, the programmer is initially supplied without the Custom Tune file. After receiving the device, use the “Vehicle Info” menu to read the ECU Strategy from your Shelby GT500.

We then require the following information by email:

• Vehicle Identification Number (VIN)
• ECU Strategy
• model year and engine
• transmission
• existing vehicle and engine modifications
• rear tyre size
• modified final drive ratio, if applicable
• fuel grade used

Any other modifications to the engine, intake system, exhaust system or other components relevant to the calibration must also be specified.

Based on this information, we create the matching Schropp Custom Tune and send the Tune file to you by email. The file is then transferred to the SCT X4 using the SCT Device Updater on a Windows PC and programmed into the vehicle using the X4.

After receiving and/or pairing the device with the vehicle, unnecessary SCT X4 updates should be avoided.

Important information about the Stock File

During the first programming procedure, the SCT X4 saves the software currently installed on the ECU as the Stock File. If the vehicle already has a calibration from another tuner, that existing calibration will therefore be saved – not automatically the original Ford factory calibration.

If your Shelby GT500 has already been tuned and you additionally require an original Ford factory calibration, please let us know when ordering. We can provide a suitable factory calibration as a separate Custom Tune / Stock Tune file.

Super Plus / minimum 98 RON required

The Schropp Custom Tune for the Shelby GT500 is calibrated for Super Plus fuel with a minimum rating of 98 RON. The specified fuel grade must be used when operating the vehicle with the Schropp calibration.
