KW V3 Coilover Kit for Shelby GT500 2008–2014

The KW V3 coilover kit 35230055 has been developed specifically for the Shelby GT500 and combines individually adjustable lowering with independently adjustable rebound and compression damping. This allows KW's vehicle-specific base setup to be fine-tuned to suit the vehicle, tyres, driving style and personal requirements.

The V3 is particularly suitable for GT500 owners who want to combine a sportier ride height with control over the damping characteristics, providing significantly greater setup flexibility than a suspension system with fixed damping.

Independent rebound and compression adjustment

The KW V3 allows rebound and compression damping to be adjusted independently:

• Rebound: adjustable through 16 clicks
• Compression: adjustable through 12 clicks
• Rebound and compression independently adjustable

Rebound adjustment can be used to influence the control of vehicle body movement. Compression adjustment provides additional scope for adapting the suspension to factors such as tyres, vehicle setup and personal preferences without simultaneously changing the rebound setting.

The dampers feature adjustment controls for suspension setup. Depending on the damper design, access to the piston rod may be required for rebound adjustment.

Continuously adjustable ride height

The ride height can be individually adjusted within the tested adjustment range:

• Front axle: approx. 30–60 mm
• Rear axle: approx. 35–55 mm

At the front, ride height is adjusted via the KW threaded coilover struts. At the rear, separate springs with height adjusters are combined with matching dampers.

KW inox-line stainless steel technology

The KW V3 uses KW's proven inox-line stainless steel technology. The stainless steel struts and KW height adjustment system are designed for high corrosion resistance and reliable long-term adjustment of the vehicle's ride height.

With Teilegutachten

The KW V3 is supplied with a Teilegutachten (§19.3). As the Shelby GT500 was registered in Germany as an imported vehicle, the actual approval procedure may depend on the individual vehicle registration. Vehicles with an individual vehicle approval may require an inspection according to §19(2) StVZO.
