Schropp SF500 Power Package with K&N for Mustang GT 2018–2022

The Schropp SF500 Power Package with K&N replacement air filter combines our individual engine calibration for the European-spec 2018–2022 Ford Mustang GT 5.0 V8 with a reusable K&N air filter element for the factory airbox – including SCT X4, Schropp Custom Tune and vehicle-specific approval documentation.

The factory intake and exhaust system remain in place. The K&N replacement air filter simply replaces the original filter element inside the factory airbox.

With the Schropp Custom Tune individually calibrated for your vehicle, engine output increases by approximately 30 hp. Engine management and throttle response are also optimised, while automatic models receive corresponding transmission calibration.

K&N replacement air filter for the factory airbox

The included K&N replacement air filter replaces the factory filter element and is installed directly into the original Ford airbox. The factory intake system therefore remains in place.

The K&N filter is washable and reusable and designed for long-term use. Instead of replacing the filter at regular service intervals, it can be cleaned, re-oiled and installed again.

The K&N filter is part of the tested SF500 configuration and is supplied together with the Schropp Custom Tune as a matched package.

SCT X4 included

The SCT X4 programmer is included with the SF500 and is used to transfer the Schropp Custom Tune to the vehicle.

During the initial programming process, the factory ECU calibration is saved, allowing the vehicle to be returned to its stock calibration later if required.

The SCT X4 can also be used to read and clear diagnostic trouble codes (DTCs) and for data logging.

How to receive your Schropp Custom Tune

The SCT X4 is initially supplied without the Custom Tune file. After receiving the device, use the “Vehicle Info” menu to read your Mustang's ECU Strategy.

To create your individual Custom Tune, please email us the following information:

• Vehicle Identification Number (VIN)
• ECU Strategy
• transmission: manual or automatic
• rear tyre size
• modified final drive ratio, if applicable

Using this information, we create the appropriate Schropp Custom Tune and send the tune file to you by email. The file is then transferred to the SCT X4 using the SCT Device Updater before being programmed into the vehicle.

Super Plus / 98 RON required

The Schropp SF500 Custom Tune is calibrated for Super Plus / minimum 98 RON fuel. The specified fuel quality must be used while operating the vehicle with the Schropp calibration.

Road approval

The SF500 is supplied with a vehicle-specific test report for inspection according to §19(2) / §21 StVZO. The inspection is carried out by inspection engineers of an officially recognised inspection organisation.

Approval applies to the vehicle configuration specified in the test report. Changes to the intake, exhaust system or other performance-related modifications may affect the approval eligibility of the SF500.
