Schropp SF500 Custom Tune with SCT X4 for Mustang GT, Bullitt & Mach 1 2018–2022 with Approval Documentation

The Schropp SF500 Custom Tune is our road-approval capable performance upgrade for European-spec Ford Mustang GT, Bullitt and Mach 1 5.0 V8 models from 2018–2022 – including SCT X4, individual Schropp engine calibration and vehicle-specific approval documentation.

The factory intake and exhaust system remain in place. With the Schropp Custom Tune individually calibrated for your vehicle, engine output increases by approximately 35 hp. Engine management and throttle response are also optimised, while automatic models receive corresponding transmission calibration.

Schropp Custom Tune for your 5.0 V8

The engine calibration is individually created by Schropp for your vehicle. Vehicle model, ECU software, transmission and relevant vehicle data are taken into account.

The SF500 is available for the Mustang GT, Bullitt and Mach 1 with the 5.0 V8. Separate product variants for each model and transmission type are not required – we create the appropriate Custom Tune based on your vehicle information.

SCT X4 included

The SCT X4 programmer is included with the SF500 and is used to transfer the Schropp Custom Tune to the vehicle.

During the initial programming process, the factory ECU calibration is saved, allowing the vehicle to be returned to its stock calibration later if required.

The SCT X4 can also be used to read and clear diagnostic trouble codes (DTCs) and for data logging.

How to receive your Schropp Custom Tune

The SCT X4 is initially supplied without the Custom Tune file. After receiving the device, use the “Vehicle Info” menu to read your Mustang's ECU Strategy.

To create your individual Custom Tune, please email us the following information:

• Vehicle Identification Number (VIN)
• ECU Strategy
• vehicle model: GT, Bullitt or Mach 1
• transmission: manual or automatic
• rear tyre size
• modified final drive ratio, if applicable

Using this information, we create the appropriate Schropp Custom Tune and send the tune file to you by email. The file is then transferred to the SCT X4 using the SCT Device Updater before being programmed into the vehicle.

Super Plus / 98 RON required

The Schropp SF500 Custom Tune is calibrated for Super Plus / minimum 98 RON fuel. The specified fuel quality must be used while operating the vehicle with the Schropp calibration.

Road approval

The SF500 is supplied with a vehicle-specific test report for inspection according to §19(2) / §21 StVZO. The inspection is carried out by inspection engineers of an officially recognised inspection organisation.

Approval applies to the vehicle configuration specified in the test report. Changes to the intake, exhaust system or other performance-related modifications may affect the approval eligibility of the SF500.
