Schropp SF-550 Lowering Springs for Mustang 6 FL with MagneRide

Our Schropp SF-550 lowering springs were developed for Mustang drivers who want a sportier appearance and improved handling while retaining the factory MagneRide suspension. The springs are manufactured by Eibach specifically for Schropp and work extremely well with the factory adaptive dampers.

The Mustang is lowered by approximately 25 mm at the front and 20 mm at the rear. This gives the car a noticeably sportier stance and lowers its centre of gravity without making it unnecessarily low.

The SF-550 springs have been an established part of our Mustang suspension solutions for years. They also form the basis of our Schropp Handling Pack and, for us, are an ideal solution when a complete suspension replacement is neither wanted nor necessary.

Balanced lowering without rear-end sag

Vehicle balance was particularly important to us when developing our own lowering spring setup. Lowering should make a Mustang look sportier – not make the rear appear to sit too low.

This is why our SF-550 springs lower the Mustang by approximately 25 mm at the front and 20 mm at the rear. The deliberately different front and rear lowering creates a balanced and sporting stance without excessive rear-end sag.

Designed for the factory MagneRide suspension

The springs are designed for use with the factory MagneRide dampers. The adaptive suspension remains fully functional, while the lower centre of gravity and revised spring setup provide a more direct and sporting driving experience.

This makes the SF-550 springs particularly suitable for drivers who care about handling as well as appearance but do not want to replace the complete suspension with a coilover system.

Important information for MagneRide vehicles

After installing the lowering springs, the MagneRide system must be recalibrated. Due to the changed ride height, the ride-height sensors and MagneRide control system need to be adapted to the new vehicle height to ensure that the adaptive suspension continues to operate correctly.
