Eliminate the factory hood prop rod with the Redline Tuning QuickLIFT PLUS. Simply begin lifting the hood and the gas struts take over, raising it smoothly and holding it securely in the open position.
This vehicle-specific system is designed for the 2005–2014 Ford Mustang with the original Ford hood.
The QuickLIFT PLUS version features black gas struts and black mounting hardware throughout, creating a clean and discreet appearance in the engine bay.
Progressive-rate gas struts
Redline Tuning's gas struts are specifically engineered for the individual vehicle application and feature end-of-stroke damping. This slows the extension during the final part of the opening movement rather than allowing the hood to reach its fully open position abruptly.

Bolt-in installation – no drilling required
The QuickLIFT PLUS system is specifically designed for the 2005–2014 Mustang and uses existing mounting locations and openings on the vehicle. No additional holes need to be drilled for installation.
Once installed, the factory hood prop rod is no longer required and the hood can be conveniently opened with one hand.
QuickLIFT PLUS – all-black system
The steel mounting hardware is zinc plated for corrosion protection and then finished with a black powder coating. The gas struts are also finished in black, allowing the complete system to blend discreetly into the engine bay.
